Does your backyard need a NASCAR makeover?

Homeowners and NASCAR fans are invited to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET for the chance to receive a racing-themed backyard makeover and appear in an upcoming episode of “Yard Crashers” that will be filmed at a later date in early 2014.

The DIY Network is partnering with Great Clips to look for one lucky homeowner to dig up, demolish and transform their backyard into a racing fan’s dream space. Matt Blashaw, licensed landscape contractor and host of DIY Network’s “Yard Crashers,” will meet and greet fans and choose a family/yard for the episode.

To participate, homeowners must bring a picture of their current backyard and be ready to convince Blashaw and the “Yard Crashers” crew why they are the worthy fan who should receive a free yard makeover racing style.

There is no charge to participate in the casting call. Parking is available in the NASCAR Hall of Fame parking garage on Brevard Street.

"Yard Crashers” is part of DIY Network’s “crashers” series, the popular ambush renovation series that also includes “House Crashers,” “Room Crashers,” “Bath Crashers” and “Kitchen Crashers.” Typically, the “Yard Crashers” host ambushes a local home improvement store to find the perfect weekend warriors for a backyard makeover and then follows the surprised shoppers home to completely transform their yard. For this special racing-themed episode, the crew will be on the hunt for the biggest NASCAR fan at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
